sight you will see is Powis Castle, a beautiful and imposing
sandstone building that was built around the year 1200. From here,
you’ll head towards the gorgeous lake. you’ll fly over Meifod, a
small village that is thought to be the burial place of many Powys
princes and kings. From here you will be able to see Cadar Idris in
the distance, where legend had is that Idris the Giant used to sit,
bathing his feet in the river below. As you get closer to the lake,
the pilot will point out the stone dam that is the first of its
kind in the world! The Lake as beautiful to look down on. It is
supplied by 31 different rivers and waterfalls, and its waters are
even used to make Bombay Sapphire! Next, you’ll fly to the Pistyll
Rhaeadre waterfall, the highest waterfall in England and Wales. The
pilot will then take you back to Welshpool for a safe landing,
passing over the dramatic Berwyn Mountains and the Severn Valley
along the way!
