Helicopter Experience Days: Enjoy a stunning 15 minute helicopter flight over the lovely
Lake District, and see the lakes and surrounding countryside from a
totally new and truly beautiful vantage point!
This helicopter tour takes off in true vertical VIP style at
Greenlands Farm Village, Camfoth, and from there heads northwest,
making a beeline for the beautiful Lake Windermere. As you make
your way to the Lake at an altitude of around 1000 ft, keep your
eyes trained on the beautiful countryside as it passes beneath you.
You’ll get a fantastic view of Morecamb Bay, and from your sky high
viewing position, you’ll be able to get some wonderful photographs
– so don’t forget to take a camera along for this incredible ride!
As you get closer to Lake Windermere you’ll pass over the beautiful
little town of Bowness, before you get to Belle Isle, Lake
Windermere’s only inhabited Island (and its largest of 18). Take
plenty of photos of the gorgeous Lake below, before your pilot
turns the helicopter and heads south again for a safe, celeb-style
landing back at Greenlands Farm Village!
