Your guide will take you to all the local hot spots that Shoreditch has to offer as you visit Spitalfields Market where you will find the most delicious food stalls. Arriving at Shoreditch High Street Station you will be met by your friendly, professional food tour guide. David has grown up in London and knows all the best places to eat in Shoreditch, as he is the ultimate foodie! Heading down Brick Lane you will taste a classic bagel and possibly the best chocolate in the city. When walking down Brick Lane you will see the incredibly unique street art, which makes a great backdrop for a photo opportunity. Throughout the tour you will sip on some drinks; you can choose from local beer, cocktails/London spirit or non-alcoholic alternatives. You will then walk towards Old Spitalfields Market, where you will come across some historic local sites that David will point out to you and tell you some interesting facts. When you are approaching Old Spitalfields Market you will smell all the amazing flavours from the food stands. You will get the opportunity to venture around the market and look at the stalls with beautiful jewellery, clothes, hats and art, whilst waiting for the food. After having a mooch around the market and working up an appetite you will try some spicy Asian street food and a taste of Thailand from one of David’s favourite restaurants in London. Finally, there is nothing better than finishing a food tour than with a sweet treat… you will enjoy a proper British pudding.
