fantastic hour-long experience, you’ll take to the skies in a
Cessna 150 – a simple and robust two-seater aircraft that is
perfect for first-time flyers. Soar over the stunning Bristol and
Somerset countryside to gain a unique birds-eye perspective of the
area you know and love, and prepare for an adrenaline buzz that
will last all day!
Upon arrival at Bristol Airport, you’ll be greeted by your
friendly instructor for the lesson. All instructors are highly
trained pilots with a love of flying, so you’ll be in safe and
enthusiastic hands. Safety briefings out of the way, you’ll climb
into the cockpit where you’ll be introduced to your aircraft for
the lesson – the Cessna 150. Despite the initial shock of dials and
levers, you’ll soon be surprised at how simple the machine really
is, and will begin to understand why the Cessna is one of the most
popular planes world-wide for trial flying. Once you’re buckled in,
it will be time to hit the runway and head for the skies! Your
pilot will execute the tricky take off and landing procedures, but
then the controls are all yours. Experience the joy of soaring
through the clouds as the world falls away beneath you, and feel a
sense of freedom like no other.
