Experience Days Flying Lessons: This 60 minute flying lesson in Hawarden is the ideal introduction
to the world of flying, and the perfect first step for prospective
pilots! This is a fantastic 60 minute flight
experience in a two seater aircraft, with just you and your
professional pilot instructor in a one-to-one flying lesson. Not
only will you experience the feeling of soaring over your chosen
area of Wales, but you can even get hands-on and help to
actually pilot the plane during the flight!

Upon arrival at Hawarden airfield on the day of your private
flying experience, you will be met and welcomed by the friendly
staff in the airfield’s operations office. They will introduce you
to your flight instructor, and then it’s time to start your session
with a routine 5-10 minute ground-briefing. Once you have been taken through
all the logistics, you will be led out to the apron and into the
two-seater aircraft. Once the flying lesson actually starts, it is
completely your choice how much – or how little – you want to
participate in the flight. You can sit back, relax and enjoy the
ride if you wish, but you are also absolutely encouraged to get
hands on if you want to, and you can help perform tasks throughout
the flight, including starting the engine, checklist drills,
taxiing, take off, turns cruising, and descent – you will be given
the opportunity to take the controls and actually pilot the
plane! At the end of your experience, you’ll receive a flight log to take home. 

You are guaranteed to enjoy some really spectacular views of Hawarden during your 60 minute flight; there are plenty of route
options available around the area!
