The archery lesson will kick off, like all good lessons do, with an
introduction to the sport and a safety briefing. Your experienced
and professional archery instructor will explain the basic
principles of the sport, like how to properly load an arrow, how to
stand when aiming, and how to shoot and hit a target. Of course,
you won’t get a really good idea of how this all works until you’re
adopting the stance, bow in hand and eyes on the prize – and
luckily, you’ll be doing this within minutes of the beginning of
the experience, giving you plenty of time to get to know your
weapon and learn how it responds to what you do. There’s a pretty
steep learning curve when you start to do archery, and you can
easily go from total beginner status to being able to regularly hit
your target in a really short time. By the end of this 60 minute
session, you might not be shooting apples off people’s heads like
William Tell, or winning any hunger games, but you’ll definitely be
far more skilled than you were at the start of the lesson, and will
probably be dying to try it all over again!
