Your Blackpool Tower helicopter flight takes off from just outside
Preston city. As your pilot takes you for an fantastic vertical
take off you’ll be treated to some great views of the meandering
River Ribble and the Preston, before heading west towards
Blackpool, passing over patchwork Lancashire countryside and small
villages along the way. As you near the town of Blackpool, you’ll
see the gorgeous northwest coastline stretching out on either side
of the town, providing you with some truly superb photo
opportunities, so make sure you take a camera with you! When you
get to Blackpool, your pilot will take you towards the tower for an
incredible bird’s eye view of the town’s most famous landmark.
Opened to the public in May 1894, Blackpool Tower is a Grade I
listed building that stand 518ft and 9 inches high, and was
modelled on the Eiffel Tower! Once you’ve had a good view of the
tower from your sky-high vantage point, and you’ve have a chance to
take some photographs, your pilot will take you back towards
Preston, for a thrilling VIP-style helicopter landing.
