the experience for you! Join renowned plonk expert Cecile Bergart
for a day’s wine appreciation in Southampton or
Winchester—including Champagne on arrival, eleven guided tastings,
and a delicious two-course lunch.
Cecile was born in France’s Champagne region, and she’s gained
numerous accolades during her career as a wine expert and educator.
She’s completed the esteemed Champagne Master-Level Programme,
advised big-name hotels and retailers, and even appeared on TV in
Channel 4’s SuperScrimpers. On arrival at your chosen venue, you’ll
be greeted with a glass of Champagne before the course begins in
earnest. Cecile will start by introducing the world’s major
winemaking regions and grape varieties. She’ll go on to cover how
wine is made and the effect climate has on the taste, before
offering tips for buying, storing, serving and pairing wine at
home. Over the course of the day, you’ll taste and explore eleven
different wines from around world, with lunch served midway
