Climbing Experience Days: Put your nerves to the test with a whole day of rock and ice
climbing for two people at the UK’s best indoor and ice climbing
facility in Inverness-shire! Climbing is a fantastic sport that
challenges both your mind and body, and you’ll be amazed at how far
you can come. In the morning, you will receive expert guidance from
your instructor, before putting your skills to the test on the
country’s tallest climbing wall. Later on, you can really push
yourself to your limits with three full hours of ice climbing.

During this superb experience, you’ll get to grips with all the
specialist equipment, such as ice axes and crampons, and begin to
start scaling the world’s biggest indoor ice wall! Featuring an ice
cave, nerve wall, ice pillar and fall-out gully for you to scale,
this thrilling activity makes for an utterly unforgettable day!
You will arrive at the centre and receive a full safety briefing
from the qualified instructors. You will then be taught some basic
climbing skills before heading to the rock wall – the biggest in
the UK. Your rock climbing experience will last for around and 1.5
hours in total including the briefing and tuition. You will be
encouraged to push yourself as much as you like. There will then be
a break for lunch, there is a cafeteria and bistro on site where
you can purchase home cooked style food. Next up is the world’s
biggest indoor ice wall. You will be using ice axes and crampons as
you tackle the ice and frozen snow over the next 2.5 hours
including briefing and tuition. A brilliant afternoon, a top-roped
belay system and qualified instructors ensure your safety.
