Bird Of Prey Experience Days: There is something quite extraordinary about handling and flying nature’s most incredible species of Owls, so – if you know a child aged between 8-12 – this junior owl experience, is the one for them!Once you arrive,  you’ll be greeted by one to two expert handlers who’ll be taking the 90-minute interactive session. They’ll start off by giving a health and safety briefing to make sure everyone in the group is feeling confident in handling and flying the birds. Then, it’s time for the fun to start, as the group are introduced to the beautiful birds. These may include the Boobook Owl, Long Eared Owl and a Barn Owl. Throughout the session, the group will all get to have a go at handling and flying the birds while listening to an interesting commentary about the owls, their natural history and personal background. Make sure they bring a camera along with them because there’s going to be a lot of amazing opportunities to capture some incredible photographs.
