Flying Experience Days: This premium hang gliding experience, in Devon, is a chance to

The experience takes place along the North Devon coastline, with
views of Exmoor National Park. You’ll be met by your instructor at
the prearranged take-off point, and briefed on what to expect
during the flight. Next, you’ll be introduced to the equipment and
secured in the harness alongside your dual pilot. After a few
steps, you’ll ‘foot launch’ from the hillside and take flight! As
you admire the views, your instructor will point out the features
of terrain and weather that allow the glider to maintain height and
even gain altitude. If the conditions are right, you’ll then be
offered the chance to fly yourself. Free of noisy engines and
propellers, you can enjoy a sensation like no other – before
reluctantly returning to solid ground. Finally, you’ll receive DVD
footage from the wing-mounted cameras and an interactive GPS flight
log – so you can relive the experience at home!
