Outdoor Experience Days: The Lake District boasts

two-day experience combines a variety of outdoor activities in a

nights’ group accommodation in a comfortable hostel – occupying a
lovely Georgian house by Derwent Water – plus two days’ breakfast
and lunch, kit hire and minibus transport. Following your first
night’s stay, Day One will be spent exploring Buttermere and the
surrounding hills. You’ll benefit from the expertise of ex-military
instructors as you learn basic leadership, navigation and survival
skills – enabling you to approach the wilderness with confidence.
Having summited several challenging peaks, you can rest weary legs
by a crackling fire and enjoy a two-course pub meal. On Day Two,
you can try your hand at canyoning and abseiling – gaining a new
perspective on the landscape as you leap from waterfalls or scale
sheer rock faces – before the trip concludes at a private pool and
spa. Recline blissfully in the steam room or hot tub, and reflect
on a weekend well spent.
